<div>Hello there,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I am trying to install aurora linux build 2,99 on my U 10. The OBP has been upgraded to 3,31. I get past the booting screen until the point where it asks me from where would I like to install the distro on which I select CDROM.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Then something unusual happens. It gives the following error message:</div>
<div><strong>Unable to find any device of the type needed for this installation type.</strong></div>
<div><strong>Would you like to manually select your driver or use a driver disk.</strong></div>
<div><strong></strong> </div>
<div>Has it been unable to detect my CDROM? When I select the manual option, i see a list which does not look like the list of CDROM manufacturers. Rather it looks more like the list of Video card drivers.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>And one last piece of information, I am using a text based installer. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>Would love to hear from you guys,</div>
