It's ready!
This interim build should resolve the following failures in 2.99:
* USB keyboard/mouse driven systems couldn't install
* mouse didn't work during install for systems with "old" style Sun
keyboard/mouse (preventing a sane GUI install)
* IDE based SPARC systems couldn't find their drives (or CDROMs)
It unfortunately does not resolve the failures on Niagara based
hardware. I'm still trying to figure out why that stopped working, and
I'll post again when I have something that fixes it.
Get the fixed 2.99 ISOs here:
ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/aurora/corona/sparc/iso/
(I didn't rename them so that if you already downloaded the original
2.99 isos, you can just rsync the new iso set)
Thanks for the patience,
~spot
