[Aurora-sparc-user] SPARC/Linux compatible video cards...

Hi Kyle,

The XVR-1200 is a "3Dlabs Wildcat 4 Wildcat IV" but I have no idea
if drivers for this card exist under Linux. That's a fine card if you're
running Solaris (in 2005, it was the only SUN video cards that could run
my Solaris/Sparc port of TGE at decent speed).

I don't know about the Linux support for the XVR-500. Also, the
XVR-600 shares the chipset type with the XVR-1200, they're from the same
manufacturer. Only one chip is found on the XVR-600 whereas the bigger
sister (XVR-1200) features dual chips and dual-head (and more RAM). The
XVR-6000 is pretty much 'half' of an XVR-1200.

Good luck,

Vincent (sb2k with XVR-1000, U45 with XVR-2500).
