Hmm. Those drives should work fine, I wonder if OpenBoot doesn't like
them for some reason.
Keep in mind that on an Ultra 10, you need to boot the installer with
ide=nodma.
Are there any errors on the other VTs? Maybe, if we're lucky, the kernel
is trying to tell us something about those drives.
