[Aurora-sparc-user] Sun Blade 150 - A few questions

Hello,

I currently have aurora Linux running on my Sun blade 150. I love it,
works great. I get all the flexibility with Linux with the reliability
of Sun hardware. I have a few questions on some things that I would
love to get working though. Here's my current kernel information:

jackinbox <--- exleyj1 @ ~ ---> uname -a
Linux jackinbox 2.6.21-1.3149.al3.8 #1 Sat May 26 00:31:16 EDT 2007
sparc64 sparc64 sparc64 GNU/Linux
jackinbox <--- exleyj1 @ ~ ---> cat /etc/redhat-release
Aurora SPARC Linux release 2.99 (Angel)

Sound:

Has anyone been able to get the sound card working? The system sees the
onboard card just fine, but can't seem to load any modules for it.
Output from lspci -v:

00:08.0 Multimedia audio controller: ALi Corporation M5451 PCI AC-Link
Controller Audio Device (rev 01)
        Subsystem: ALi Corporation HP Compaq nc4010 (DY885AA#ABN)
        Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 14
        I/O ports at 1fe02000900 [size=256]
        Memory at 1ff00424000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4K]
        Capabilities: [dc] Power Management version 2

Second Serial Port:

The Sun blade 150 has a second serial port on the internal riser card.
The external serial port works just fine. I use that with minicom to
connect to the console of Sun V440's. I bought a ribbon cable to
connect to the riser card serial port, but cannot connect to the
V440's. I verified the connector and cabling, so that's not the issue,
and I even put a Solaris 10 disk in and booted that to verify that the
OS was not the problem. Same behavior. Has anyone else been able to
use the second serial port? Here's my output from cat /proc/ioports:

1fe020002e8-1fe020002ef : serial
1fe020003f8-1fe020003ff : serial

Seems the OBP sets the ports to COM1, 0x3f8, and COM4, 0x2e8. I have
the devices in /dev, but I never get any output when connecting to the
second serial port:

jackinbox <--- exleyj1 @ ~ ---> ls -l /dev | grep ttyS
crw-rw---- 1 root    uucp   4,  64 Oct  6 02:54 ttyS0
crw-rw---- 1 root    uucp   4,  65 Oct  5 14:48 ttyS1

I also connected a serial loopback plug on the second serial port, but
never got any output from that either.

Video:

I would love to be able to run this system with dual monitors. I have
the onboard video card working just fine. Here's my xorg.conf file:

# Xorg configuration created by pyxf86config

                Modes "1280x1024"
        EndSubSection
EndSection

I've tried multiple dual head video cards, but cannot get anything to
work. I was thinking of maybe trying one last type, a Maxtrox dual head
card. Has anyone else got a dual head Sun Blade 100 or 150 running with
this version of aurora? Any help with these issues is most appreciated.

Thank You!

Jack Exley
