[Aurora-sparc-user] Sun Netra T1 (105) with Disk Pack .. possible uses??

Thought I would take the expert option, and then do a manual partition
setup, but even Expert mode crashes at the same point with the same
exception error on the two machines I tried before, and this is before I get
the option to partition. So I have two machines that I cannot get the
installer to run on. How can I repair the disks so I can re-install them
using the manual partitioning?

While I await a reply I'm going to remove a disk from the other one which
still has Solaris on it and give the installer another whirl on that.

I've seen this with Aurora, multiple disks and LVM. Either take disks out
and add them later or manually partition.

Well .. I'm now stuck .. it won't install! Got a little further after 4 of
those CHS errors, I got to take the options for auto partitioning, choose
it
was a server etc then it did this ..

Now every time I run the installer, I get the 4 CHS errors then
immediately
after ...

Gonna try on one of the other 105's I have see if it just this one has
some
faulty hardware in it, but any pointers on it would be great!

I've seen it before a couple of times and never noticed any negative
impact. From what I can tell, it seems to be caused by differences in
fdisk versions.
