[Aurora-sparc-user] Questions in regards to yum update on Fresh 2.0 build

To the list:

I posted something to this effect a couple days ago but did not see any
responses so I figured I would post one more time.

After installing Aurora Linux 2.0 on my Ultra5 from scratch, I figured I
would install the updates, patches, etc. via yum.

After pointing the repos.d stuff to a proper yummified mirror I updates
yum via yum update yum.

I have a couple of questions. The first is in regards to yum itself. It
seems that every time that I run yum (even before updating it) I see the
following error/warning message:

error: Macro % has illegal name (%define)

I have looked at the /etc/yum.conf and /etc/repos.d files and everything
looks OK to me but I'm relatively new to the Linux realm so I was
wondering if anyone on the list has any ideas.

The other is when running yum update I saw several errors/warnings such as:

Updating: glibc 100 % done 4/460
/usr/sbin/glibc_post_upgrade: While trying to execute
/usr/sbin/iconvconfig.sparc child terminated abnormally
error: %post(glibc-2.3.6-0.fc3.1.sparc) scriptlet failed, exit status 115

The above is just one of the many/few errors/warnings that I saw and I
was just wondering if this is anything to be concerned about? I also
checked via rpm -qa and the glibc rpm matches the version from the
update list so....

Anyone on the list have any ideas on this one?

And if I wanted to how could I find the post-install script to find out
what it was trying to do?

As always, any help is greatly appreciated. TIA.
