[Aurora-sparc-user] Questions in regards to yum update

To list members:

I just recently installed (from scratch) Aurora Linux 2.0 on my Ultra 5.
I just wanted to start off by saying nice job.

After I built the box. I wanted to install any patches, updates, etc.
that may have come out after the ISOs were cut so I first updated yum.
After pointing the repos.d stuff (base, extras, updates, etc) to the
proper yummified mirror, I ran 'yum update'.

The question that I have (don't know yet if I should be concerned) is
that I saw several warning messages during the process such as follows:

/usr/sbin/glibc_post_upgrade: While trying to execute
/usr/sbin/iconvconfig.sparc child terminated abnormally

The above is just an example but I saw several warnings on post and
pre-install scripts for a particular package. Should I be concerned
because after the yum process had completed, I checked several packages
and the versions were all correct (via rpm). Are there any other things
that I can check to verify that these packages updated/installed properly?

The other question that I have is yum specific. Every time that I run
yum I see the following error message:

error: Macro % has illegal name (%define)

but I haven't been able to locate the issue. I am using the default yum
configuration from the scratch 2.0 install; all that I did to change
things was to point things like base, update, extras to yummified mirror.

As always I appreciate the help in advance. TIA.
