Hi all,

this could be fun - what does your (old) Sparc hardware do with
Aurora? I posted this question sometime last year and it was very
interesting to read what your old Sparc hardware is used for, running
Aurora.

SS1 & SS2 - netbsd
Classic LX - diskless workstation [SLTP]
Ultra1 - openbsd, production server
Ultra60 - Aurora, development workstation, test server. Second hard disk
is variously Solaris, Debian or OpenBSD.

Both Ultras have been predominantly Aurora machines for years and have
been a pleasure to use, day in day out. I also look after many remote
sparc machines, about half of which are also Aurora.

Being a sysadmin/major geek, I also have IBM power, SGI mips, Compaq
alpha, DEC vax, Apple ppc and HP pa-risc machines, all of which are dual
boot native OS/linux, usually Debian. Thank god for linux and it's
consistent structure across architectures - I would have gone mad years
ago without it :]
