[Aurora-sparc-user] Ultra 5 + Aurora Linux = WooHoo?

I've also had a rather positive experience using
Aurora 1 and 2 on ultra5s, both in server and in
desktop configurations.

Probably the only negative point is the Ati Mach64
graphic card; overall graphic quality is acceptable,
but when working with dynamic drawings (3D), the card
is AWFULLY slow compared with recent, equivalent PC
graphic cards... And I am limiting my comparison to
PCI/AGP cards...

However, this problem appears also when running
Solaris9 on these machines.

BTW, does anybody know if graphic performance in
Aurora can be improved by using a Raptor card?

Cheers,

Joseph
