Raptor = GFX8P, IIRC? Been there, done that - I had one running under
Aurora 1.0. We even had some discussion about it on this list, as the
installer didn't quite like them - and you needed to add the old XFree
3.3.6 drivers to XFree 4.0 at the time to get them fully supported. No
idea why those drivers were not added to 4.0, nor do I know what the
status is today. All my Linux-based PCI Ultras have Creators these days
(and the two U10s run OpenBSD...).
Talking about OpenBSD: OpenBSD supports some Promise IDE controllers on
sparc64 (I think up to the Ultra 66, though not the newer ones, it
seems) - what's the story with Aurora on this? That would make a nice
and cheap upgrade for an U5_10, IMO.
