[Aurora-sparc-user] CD-ROM drives and > 4x (was: Aurora 2.0 install failure on Sun Ultra 10)

Like you, Thomas, I used both CDROMS and DVDROMS on
PCs and both read fast CDs without any problem. When I
installed the same units (CD and DVD) on an ultra5,
the problem appeared.

Just to add here that the exactly the same problem
appeared on an ultra30, using SCSI CDROMs and DVDROMS.

Can anybody in the list give a logical explanation of
this CD burning speed problem? It's an issue that
comes again and again...
