[Aurora-sparc-devel] Re: E220R boot problem (won't boot)

Ok, I fixed the original problem by upgrading the boot prom. Now I get
completely through the (network) installation, and then, bam: Basically,
same problem, again: Illegal Instruction just as the kernel should be
getting control.
Only other difference is I switched the installation to netboot, which
doesn't use silo/tilo, anymore. My hunch is its a silo problem that is
messing up OBP, which then dies when the kernel tries to use it...But
its just a hunch. [if someone can point me to a cluefile on sparc
kernel debugging, I'll see what I can dig out]
Is anyone else having this problem?
What alternatives are there for bootloaders on sparc?
I'm going to try installing aurora 1.0, just to see how that goes.
All suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
