thread(threads), for now, I hope you can accept the information herein
as memory support for me and others interested until the foot is set
down on what the Aurora project wants with sparc64 variants...]

well, I had to fiddle with the spec file to make this happen, attached
is the diffs...

When building the sparc64 variant of the packages, I used

rpmbuild -ba /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/gcc34.spec --without ada --target=sparc64

and when building the sparc ones, I was going to use

sparc32 rpmbuild -bb /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/gcc34.spec --target=sparc

however, the dependencies in sparc64 variant packages required to
build java, the way it's configured in the gcc-3.4.4-2.fc3.src.rpm was
just too much for me right now... perhaps when spot gets that t2k up
and running Aurora I'll revisit this issue.

N.B. this is using the sparc patched version, thus the src.rpm file is
now gcc-3.4.4-2sparc.fc3.src.rpm, with the spec file diff, and only
that, attached. However, the spec file change is not sparc specific,
rather rpm spec file gearing...
